Google Web Accelerator does indeed speed up your broadband Web surfing by a significant margin, saving you time while you surf. They even have a little clock that tells you how much time you have saved so far by using the technology.

Trouble is, one day it stopped working: Google Web Accelerator servers "fall down, go boom!" I couldn't get anywhere until I uninstalled the product. Now I am hesitant to try it again.

I trust the Google brand, so I trust them to fix it, if they haven't already. I even wrote Google Help asking when they will be out of beta. At that point, I'm sure everything will be bug free.

Anyone tried WA who would like to comment? Anyone willing to give it a shot and report back? Does it ever go down?
