Welcome!
All you need is one extra nuisance when trying to surf. And there Internet Explorer Error Reporting is to provide it for you. Well, we can put a stop to that.
Note: If you are not comfortable working in the Windows System Registry, do NOT do this. Even if you are comfortable with it, you should back up your registry before you begin. Here are some great instructions for that from Symantec:
Backup Windows Registry.
Ready to begin? Go to Start, Run, type in RegEdit, and click OK.
Open HKEY_LOCAL MACHINE by clicking the + sign left of the folder.
Now open the Software folder, followed by the Microsoft folder, followed by the Internet Explorer folder (don't get some other folder by mistake here), then finally the Main folder.
Now, in the right window, right click in an empty area of the folder and left click on DWORD value under New. Where you see New Value #1 highlighted, type in exactly this: IEWatsonEnabled.
Double click IEWatsonEnabled. Check that the number value under Value data: is 0. If not, change it to 0. Click OK and close the Registry Editor. Restart your computer.
Internet Explorer may (probably will) crash again at some point. But, the error reporting is done away with.
Best,
