Welcome!
I like having all my Web shortcuts, my favorites, on the Bookmarks Toolbar at the top of my browser. In Internet Explorer or Firefox, all you need do is grab the little icon next to the Web address in your browser by holding down the left mouse button with the cursor on it and drag it to a position on the Bookmarks (or Links in IE) toolbar.
You will see a vertical line on the toolbar when you have the link in the right place to just drop it in there. Do so by letting go of the mouse button.
If you would like to keep a lot of favorites on your toolbar as I do, you can make room for them by shortening the names of each of the links. In Firefox, right click on the icon for the link and left click on Properties. Shorten the name considerably to something you will still recognize as that particular link.
Click OK and do the same for each link you add. I can easily accommodate my 20 favorite links up there by using this method.
For Internet Explorer favorites on the taskbar, right click on the name of the link and left click on rename. Change the name and click OK.
Best,
