Welcome!
You may have noticed we've referred to compressed files and opening them with a program like WinZip. For the uninitiated, here's your intro to this useful process and the software utility, WinZip.
Files are compressed to save file size and to load several files or install programs together for transport across the Internet or on other media.
You need a program to open these compressed files for use. WinZip is one of the most popular programs for this and can be had for a download (free).
Surf to the above link, put the radio button in the hole next to WinZip and download the file. Know where you're downloading to so you can retrieve it.
Open the folder where you saved the download to and double click the WinZip90.exe file. Click the setup button and next the button that appears referencing acceptance of the license agreement. Click Next each of the three times that it appears. It will search your computer for all compressed files. This may take several minutes.
When it is done, click OK and next. Click Close. The next time you need to open a zip file, WinZip will start automatically. Click the button associated with opening the file using the evaluation to open your zip file.
Best,
