Welcome!
A small, handy freeware tool that's easy to setup and use can tell you what hardware and software you have on your system, in case you ever need to know, like to tell a support technician, in-house computer tech or shop, or if you need to buy replacement parts.
It's called Belarc Advisor. Go to the link up top in the title, double click Download at top left and save it to your desktop or wherever you can find it.
Double click advisor.exe to start the install. Click the Install button and it will create a shortcut icon on your desktop and do an initial work up of what's on your computer.
You can save the workup for reference (it will appear in your browser - Internet Explorer, Firefox or what-have-you) or print it out.
You can move the desktop icon to your quick launch bar (bottom of left of screen where the tiny icons are) and then delete the desktop copy to save space if you like.
You will also find an icon for Belarc Advisor under the Start button and Programs.
Some things in the work up you may recognize and some you won't. You can quickly create a new file of what is currently on your computer any time by selecting the Belarc icon.
If your support tech or you need to locate something there, you can use the find feature in the browser (mine is under Edit, Find in this Page on the top menu) to search for the generic name, like Adapter or Network Connection, and look to see what your model is. Or, you can scroll and look through or become familiar with what should only be a few pages of information.
Best,
